Diagramming – Basic with Crash Zone – Crime Zone™ Course Description
PREREQUISITE Successful completion of the Advanced Accident Investigation class or a good working knowledge of constructing scale diagrams by hand. It is strongly recommended that the students have a basic understanding of the Microsoft Windows operating system and Windows based programs.
COST $130.00, Software not included / Checks payable to Office of the Sheriff (Due by the first day of class). The center may be required to change the enrollment fee, based on state legislation.

DESCRIPTION This three day, hands-on course discusses the principles and operation of Crash Zone-Crime Zone™ software used for illustrating crash and crime scenes. Topics include the basics of using the drawing tools and functions; manual data entry (coordinate, station line, and triangulation) electronic file import, coordinate printouts, editing and layering, two dimensional and three dimensional mapping of traffic and crime scenes, the use of symbols, simple animation using 3D snapshots and much more.
